Foster Care

Become A Foster Carer

Foster Carers save livesFoster carers take dogs and cats into their homes while Rocky’s K9 Rescue find their new ‘forever’ home. Foster Carers make this essential rescue work possible. An animal placed in Foster Care has the chance to get out of a cage, relax, be cared for and become accustomed or re-accustomed, to a normal and safe domestic life. Foster Carers are always required by Rockys K9 Rescue. Having more Foster Carers, means we can save more dogs & cats. Thinking about becoming a Foster Carer? Just complete our on-line form to register your interest – here.

“Foster caring is a truly worthwhile, feel good experience. I don’t have lots of money to give, but by foster caring, I am able to contribute in my own way.The satisfaction of seeing a foster dog go off to a new home is just fantastic” Kate S., Foster Carer, Sydney.

Foster Carers come in all shapes and sizes at Rockys K9 Rescue. We have single people, young people, family people, students and retired people caring for our dogs and cats. All you need is some extra time, lots of love and an interest in improving the lot of these abandoned animals.

Foster Carers SAVE Lives!

Foster Carers save livesThe team at Rocky’s K9 Rescue will work to ensure that your foster pet fits in with your pets, your family and lifestyle. An animal placed in Foster Care has the chance to get out of a cage, relax, be cared for and become accustomed, or re-accustomed to a normal and safe domestic life. The transition to their new home, when found, is much easier for both the pet, and the new adoptive parents. It really is a ‘win/ win’ situation.
Our foster carers often stay in touch with the people and families who adopt their fostered pets. The re-homing of your foster pet is an extremely satisfying experience. YOU have saved a life, YOU make a difference. It’s about making a difference, one dog at a time.

Far More Rewarding than any Frequent Flyer Point Program!!!

Rocky’s Urgently Requires Foster Carers – Please complete the Foster Care Form , or use our online enquiry form. Rocky’s will work hard to ensure that your foster pet is one that suits you and your lifestyle.
